Our Teachers

Maria Canela
Director / Hot 26&2 Yoga / HIIT Pilates / Yin Yoga Teacher

I became a hot yoga teacher in the fall of 2007. Yoga can help you heal mentally, spiritually and physically if you practice consistently and listen mindfully. Yoga is the relationship that is built between the body, the mind and the breath. Though I am a certified instructor, each day I teach is a learning experience for me. This process is never ending and I look forward to sharing this growing experience with you.

Carole Beard
Manager /Hot 26&2 Yoga / Yin Yoga / HIIT PIlates Teacher

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2013. I will always be a student of the practice. I seek to help others thrive in live by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Lynne Lombardo
Hot 26&2 Yoga Teacher

I went to Bikram training in the spring of 2003 in LA, California. I started my yoga in St Augustine, FL. So after the first class I was hooked!! After 8 months of practice I went to training and it was the hardest thing I ever did. It changed my life for the better in so many ways. But what it has changed the most for me is compassion. It feels so good to help people transform after doing the yoga, it is so gratifying! I’ve met so many awesome people and feel blessed to have a job I love! I’ve been teaching yoga for almost 20 years and hope to go on teaching 20 more!

Catalina Aleman
Hot 26&2 Yoga Teacher
I fell in love with Hot Yoga and in less than a year went to Teacher Training 2011 in LA.
I have a herniated disk and was ready to have a surgery, after suffering for quite some time from so much pain and not able to do many things (even driving was painful and sleeping was a challenge).  But little by little the practice allowed me to clear the chronic pain.
Being a teacher allows me to share this practice with others and see how they improve and benefit from this yoga. It's like magic going on in the body and mind!
Chris Monetti
Hot 26&2 Yoga / Yin Yoga Teacher

I began practicing yoga in 2008 and received my teacher training in 2011 in LA. I was drawn to the practice of yoga because of how this physical practice goes beyond the studio and fills your life in every way - mind, body and spirit…that’s why I love it so much!  I want to help others to feel more ease and fullness in the yoga postures so that they feel the benefits, have longevity in the practice and are inspired to share yoga with their friends and loved ones.

Hot 26&2 Yoga Teacher

I attended teacher training back in the fall of 2017. I wanted to test myself and see how much I could push myself outside of my comfort zone. It turned out to be a phenomenal experience and one that I would remember for the rest of my life. As a matter of fact that's how I feel about Hot 26&2 Yoga practice. As challenging as it is for the 90/60 minutes, the rest of the day is spent on a high because of all the energy derived from the practice.  I love seeing the progress students experience through their frequent practice.

Xavier Baez
Hot HIIT Pilates Teacher

I hold a background in Athletic Training and I'm currently pursuing a degree in Strength and Conditioning at a graduate level. I do my best to implement my knowledge in exercise and rehabilitation by designing well structured motivating workouts that target each individuals fitness and health goals. I'm a true believer that exercise is medicine, so the aspect of combining the Pilates method with high intensity intervals welcomes clients to master basic functional movements to improve their strength, resolve physical limitations and to build a foundation for further gains in health, mind and fitness.

Christi Daft
Hot HIIT Pilates / Yin Yoga Teacher

After a few years of steady practice I first went through yin yoga teacher training in 2013 and then Hot HIIT Pilates in 2016. I loved how physically challenging Hot HIIT Pilates was and discovered how peaceful the world became around me through Yin Yoga. I love to inspire students through their yoga practice to connect with their own physical and spiritual potential and strengths. I am so grateful to be a part of the Orlando Hot Yoga & Pilates team and to share my love of yoga and Pilates with all of you!

Hot Yoga Teacher

I discovered yoga in 2014. It started with two days a week, but within six months, I was a daily student. I started leaving work early to get to my favorite teacher’s classes, and very quickly, I realized my yoga practice was very important to me. My first teacher, Maria, offered a 12-week Hot Yoga Teacher Training in 2019. I joined initially out of personal interest, but by the end of the training I started to teach and loved it. For me, yoga is about the balance between strength and flexibility, exertion, and releasing. I am looking forward sharing my practice with students and help them feel the benefits of Hot Yoga.

Jessie Bojanavich
HIIT Hot Pilates Instructor

I have always loved moving my body, that’s my therapy, ever since I was a little girl I used to go to dance classes. I tried so many different workouts, until I found Hot Pilates 4 years ago and I fell in love immediately.
For me movement is medicine and that’s why I have decided to share my passion and teach others so they can heal and move the body.

Brad Beard
Hot Yoga Teacher

Throughout the almost ten years that yoga has been in my life, the relationship we’ve had has been ever-evolving. With a professional career in IT administration, I was an overwhelmed, stressed, high achieving type A. I started to occasionally accompany my wife Carole Beard to the classes she would teach in our home studio. Something that seemed impossible at first became a source of power for me, and so I began to practice regularly. Beyond the physical wellness, this practice started to offer me mental and emotional freedom. Completing my 200 hour training in 2020, I began teaching right away. Yoga is a life long path and it is my privilege to be able to share in people’s practices.

Ann Zuehlke
Hot Yoga Teacher

I began a regular practice of Hot Yoga over 10 years ago. Hot Yoga quickly became the remedy to the stressful pace of life – essential to survival and was amazed at the rejuvenating and healing benefits, I became a certified Hot Yoga instructor in 2020. I consider myself a student of yoga first and foremost, and teaching is something that fulfills me with the connections that are made inside the studio. I deeply believe in the transformational potential of yoga and greatly enjoy teaching. I am so very excited to connect with the community here in Orlando Hot Yoga and Pilates studio.
