Originally from the Dominican Republic, I moved to Orlando in 2000. I discovered hot yoga soon after and within six months, I was a daily student. Beyond physical exercise, yoga brought me mental and emotional wellness. After completing hot yoga teacher training in 2007 in Hawaii I came back to Orlando and began teaching right away. I opened the studio in 2009 to create a space where students can truly have a safe and healing place in the hot room. After years of challenges and successes/failures of owning the yoga studio, it would not be here if not for the ever-loving ever-supporting community. And I will be forever grateful for that.
I went to Bikram training in the spring of 2003 in LA, California. I started my yoga in St Augustine, FL. So after the first class I was hooked!! After 8 months of practice I went to training and it was the hardest thing I ever did. It changed my life for the better in so many ways. But what it has changed the most for me is compassion. It feels so good to help people transform after doing the yoga, it is so gratifying! I’ve met so many awesome people and feel blessed to have a job I love! I’ve been teaching yoga for almost 20 years and hope to go on teaching 20 more!
I received my teacher training in 2010 in San Diego. I was drawn to the practice of yoga because of how this physical practice goes beyond the studio and fills your life in every way - mind, body and spirit…that’s why I love it so much! I want to help others to feel more ease and fullness in the yoga postures so that they feel the benefits, have longevity in the practice and are inspired to share yoga with their friends and loved ones.
I attended teacher training back in the fall of 2017. I wanted to test myself and see how much I could push myself outside of my comfort zone. It turned out to be a phenomenal experience and one that I would remember for the rest of my life. As a matter of fact that's how I feel about Hot 26&2 Yoga practice. As challenging as it is for the 90/60 minutes, the rest of the day is spent on a high because of all the energy derived from the practice. I love seeing the progress students experience through their frequent practice.
I hold a background in Athletic Training and I'm currently pursuing a degree in Strength and Conditioning at a graduate level. I do my best to implement my knowledge in exercise and rehabilitation by designing well structured motivating workouts that target each individuals fitness and health goals. I'm a true believer that exercise is medicine, so the aspect of combining the Pilates method with high intensity intervals welcomes clients to master basic functional movements to improve their strength, resolve physical limitations and to build a foundation for further gains in health, mind and fitness.
After a few years of steady practice I first went through yin yoga teacher training in 2013 and then Hot HIIT Pilates in 2016. I loved how physically challenging Hot HIIT Pilates was and discovered how peaceful the world became around me through Yin Yoga. I love to inspire students through their yoga practice to connect with their own physical and spiritual potential and strengths. I am so grateful to be a part of the Orlando Hot Yoga & Pilates team and to share my love of yoga and Pilates with all of you!
I discovered yoga in 2014. I started leaving work early to get to my favorite teacher’s classes, and very quickly, I realized my yoga practice was very important to me. My first teacher, Maria, offered a 12-week Hot Yoga Teacher Training in 2019. I joined initially out of personal interest, but by the end of the training I started to teach and loved it. For me, yoga is about the balance between strength and flexibility, exertion, and releasing. I am looking forward sharing my practice with students and help them feel the benefits of Hot Yoga.
I began a regular practice of Hot Yoga over 10 years ago. Hot Yoga quickly became the remedy to the stressful pace of life – essential to survival and was amazed at the rejuvenating and healing benefits, I became a certified Hot Yoga instructor in 2020. I consider myself a student of yoga first and foremost, and teaching is something that fulfills me with the connections that are made inside the studio. I deeply believe in the transformational potential of yoga and greatly enjoy teaching. I am so very excited to connect with the community here in Orlando Hot Yoga and Pilates studio.
I have always loved moving my body, that’s my therapy, ever since I was a little girl I used to go to dance classes. I tried so many different workouts, until I found Hot Pilates 4 years ago and I fell in love immediately.
For me movement is medicine and that’s why I have decided to share my passion and teach others so they can heal and move the body.
I grew up in Orlando and moved to New York to pursue my dreams as a professional dancer, I have been a Radio City Rockettes for 5 years. Now I am back in ny hometown. Training & pursuing my passion in fitness a personal trainer.
I have always been a fitness junkie, trying every new workout that came out. I grew up a dancer since I could walk and began training in Stott Pilates in 2015. I really enjoy incorporating both of those aspects into Hot HIIT Pilates to really feel a full body workout while maintaining and learning about the body’s muscles and proper alignment. My passion for teaching others and helping them reach their fitness goals is what I love to do!
